Garden Train & Playground
Garden railway
Sorry, dear children! As part of the redesign of the “Sun Garden”, the garden railway has been dismantled. The sun dwarf is still working on the repair of the locomotive, let’s hope he can get the engine running again.
Playground
Many thanks to all the children who painted, made or wrote their playground wishes to the “Sonnenzwerg”. We received an incredible number of creative ideas – thank you very much! In the meantime, the excavator has arrived and is preparing the ground for the new playground. The new playground is expected to be ready for use by the end of May 2022! You can look forward to something really great 🙂

Mini-horses
Mare and stallion, born in the summer of 2012 in Oberaargau (Kt. Bern), have been living on the Sonnenberg since the end of March 2013 and are looking forward to visitors of all ages. Even if they love carrots, bananas and sweets more than anything else, our miniature horses may be stroked by our guests, but under no circumstances should they be fed. The delicate stomach of the small animals can only tolerate special food. You can visit Zora and Dusty from Tuesday to Sunday during the normal opening hours. However, we do respect their wish for peace and quiet, and they can retreat into the stable.
In the meantime we have been blessed three times with mini-horses offspring. The first time Zora and Dusty became parents of Sunny on April 11, 2015. The second time our Mounty saw the light of day on August 24, 2016. Because the willow was a bit scarce, we had to look for a new home for Sunny in 2016, which he found on a farm in Schötz (LU). Since May 2018, another offspring is responsible for the “Aww” – effect.
Our newest member in our family was born healthy on 07.05.2018 at 03:09 and was named “Cloudy”.
Duel in the minigolf park
In former times it was the golf club of the noble gentlemen of Lucerne. Until after 1900 the golf club moved to the Dietschiberg. What remains is the beautiful panorama and an 18-hole minigolf course. Freshly renovated, carefully maintained and with a lot of attention to detail, we welcome amateurs and professionals alike.
Opening hours
Daily from 10:00-21:00, weather permitting.
