The dwarf trail on the Sonnenberg offers the opportunity to experience the characters and history of the children’s book “Der Sonnenzwerg und s blaue Bähnli”, which was written and drawn specifically for the Sonnenberg. The dwarf adventure begins at the valley station of the cable car. On the Sonnenberg itself, a footpath (follow the signs “Zwergenweg”) leads along the stations of the book over the Kreuzhöhe, past the Forsthütte, down into the Wolfsschlucht and from there via Otto-Eder-Platz back to the mountain station.
The dwarf adventure offers exciting views (landscape), impressive insights (Wolfsschlucht) and funny experiences (a tree whose face the children laugh at) on a hiking trail of about 45 minutes.
The trail is partly suitable for strollers. This does not apply to the access to Wolfsschlucht, because of the long stairs on the way down. For strollers, however, suitable paths are available on the rest of the Sonnenberg.
