EXPERIENCE the Sonnenberg
Minigolf & Sun Garden
Formerly the golf club of the noble lords of Lucerne, today an 18-hole miniature golf course with panoramic views. Open daily from 10:00, provided the weather cooperates. Clubs, balls and play slips can be obtained self-service in the Sun Garden, as can drinks and ice cream. We wish you a lot of fun!
Playground
While the adults are still having a coffee, the children are having fun on the new playground.
Mini horses
Zora and Dusty have been living at Sonnenberg since 2013 and are happy to receive visitors from young and old. They have since been blessed with offspring three times, with Sunny (2015), Mounty (2016) and Cloudy (2018).
Dwarf rabbits
Three dwarf rabbits also moved in with us in the spring of 2023. The new home of Caramelle, Flöckli and Uncle Ramos is by the miniature golf course.
Sonnenbergbahn
The funicular, which is a listed building, is the only direct public connection from Kriens to the Sonnenberg and is in seasonal operation from April to November.
The (children’s) adventure trail
The dwarf path on the Sonnenberg offers the opportunity to directly experience the characters and story of the children’s book «Der Sonnenzwerg und s blaue Bähnli» (The Sun Dwarf and the Blue Train), which was written and drawn especially for the Sonnenberg, in the natural surroundings of the Sonnenberg.
Barbecue sites
All barbecue sites on the Sonnenberg have wood, grill grates, trash cans as well as seating and may be used free of charge.
